I’m almost 60. White chick. Used to go to the park near my work and listen to the “cool breeze.” This, some Keith Washington, some Luther, Mary j bites version of sweet thang. Good memories.

Don’t know why but this song has always made me cry. Have a memory sitting in the backseat with my mom and grandma in front. I just came to the realization they wouldn’t always be here. I was like 6. My grandma died when I was 15. My mom is 88 now and still kicking. I’m almost 60 now. There’s something so heartbreaking about this song even though that’s not what it’s about.
